Be In Tune and Atone

This is the tenet that needs to be kept within us. Today, many of us are not in tune with our bodies. We need to understand that our bodies have not changed that much from the times when we were hunters and gatherers. Now this just simply refers to a time when we were active out of necessity, which means we had to generate, store, and expend energy in an efficient way. In the interim, modern conveniences came into play and we stopped moving, but all the while kept eating, and in some instances eating more, and consuming wrong foods. Nourishment quickly went from being properly prepared to being overly processed for profit by way of preservatives and our overall health has been paying the price.

We must be active in order to offset our caloric intake, and to enjoy a healthy lifestyle. Our bodies are built and designed to move, to be in motion, not to simply sit and be sedentary. That’s why as soon as we begin to consistently engage in activity our bodies respond by getting stronger and reducing unwanted weight and or building lean muscle, whichever may be your desired goal. As we become in tune to the language of our bodies, we will understand that healthy eating along with exercise will ensure we remain healthy, well and fit. This wellness will then coincide with our atonement and inspire true balance, which can and should emanate from all of us.
